NEAR STATELINE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A trailer of a semi burned on this Memorial Day near Stateline, closed the slow lane on northbound Interstate 15 for hours.

California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Fire Department, and Clark County firefighters were getting calls of a semi trailer on fire just before 5:02am, Monday morning on May 31, 2021. The semi stop on the right shoulder of the freeway just after Yates Road about 5 miles before Stateline.

According to the CHP traffic logs, it was stated fire was coming from the rear breaks on the semi trailer were on fire. The driver was able to release the semi from the trailer. The cause of the big rig fire is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported. It’s unknown what’s inside the trailer at this time and was reported to be full.
