BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Another big rig caught fire on northbound Interstate 15 on the Baker Grade Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters responded to the semi on fire. The fire occurred about 2:09am, destroyed the semi truck. The big rig fire happened on nothbound I-15 before Halloran Summit Road exit.
When firefighter arriving at the scene to extinguished the semi, they had to temporary close two northbound lanes.
Everybody did escape the semi before it became fully engulfed. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Expect delays and use alternate route to bypass the cleanup.
