APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A vehicle caught fire on southbound I-15 Freeway Saturday afternoon, created an black smoke cloud that you could see for miles.
California Highway Patrol and fire crews were getting calls of a unknown vehicle on fire on Interstate 15 after the Dale Even Parkway exit about 1:32pm on Saturday June 5, 2021.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed.
No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
