PRIMM, NV, (Pain In The Pass) >> When the Fourth of July 3 day weekend came to a end some Californians won an expensive souvenir. A traffic ticket on Interstate 15.

Traffic was reported to be backed up for over 20 miles to the California border (Stateline) for hours Monday afternoon.

Video shared on social media by NHP showed a vehicle with their hazard lights on driving on the right shoulder of Southbound Interstate 15 and passed a Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper. The driver was stopped and ticketed. The winning ticket for failure to drive in a marked travel lane is upwards of $198. Final numbers from NHP on how many drivers were cited during the enforcement are expected to be out Wednesday.
