CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A blue mini-van was on fire, backed up traffic on Wednesday evening commute at the top of the Cajon Pass.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a van on fire. The vehicle was located northbound on Interstate 15 about a half of a mile before the Oak Hill Road exit on the right shoulder. The van fire happened on July 21, 2021, about 6:07pm. The vehicle on fire was reported to be a Dodge Caravan. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the two right lanes while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.

Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
