LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A small vegetation fire broke out in an agricultural field Sunday morning.
San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a small brush fire in Lucerne Valley. This fire was reported about 11:37am Sunday, August 22, 2021. SBFD firefighters were quickly were on scene and extinguish the flames in about 30 minutes. The vegetation fire started near the intersection of Midway Avenue and Sherman Way in a agricultural field. The fire forward rate had been stopped and the size was about ¼ of a acre in light vegetation burned. The fire is dubbed the Midway Fire and the cause is under investigation.
