LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A small vegetation fire broke out in Lucerne Valley Saturday morning.
San Bernardino County Fire Department, CAL Fire were getting calls of a small vegetation fire in Lucerne Valley. This fire was reported about 10:23am Saturday, September 18, 2021. The vegetation fire started near the intersection of Custer Avenue by Powerline Road.
The fire forward rate had been stopped around 12:15pm and the size was about 6 acres in light vegetation burned. A handful of homes were threaten in the area. The fire is dubbed the Custer Fire and the cause is under investigation.
