APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Southbound Interstate 15 reopened on Tuesday morning after a fatal crash involving a big rig and two vehicles just after Wild Wash Road. 

CHP and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash. It was reported at about 2:49am, Tuesday October 12, 2021. The crash was located on southbound Interstate 15 just after Wild Wash Road exit. The two left lanes were blocked for hours for the investigation. From what CHP traffic log stated a big rig crashed into a 4 door unknown make and model sedan and another vehicle.

The exact cause of the fatal crash is under investigation and no other information about the crash has been released at this time, CHP said Tuesday morning. The name of the person has not been released by authorities, it is pending notification of next of kin.
