CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider was injured Wednesday night on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Truck Escape Ramp.
The crash, occurred roughly over two miles south of Oak Hill Road exit on southbound Interstate 15. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash. They reported the crash was with two vehicles involved, a pickup truck and a motorcycle. From what a witness stated, traffic was slowing down for unknown reasons, the motorcycle rider veered left to avoid a collision. The rider lost control, hit the back of a pickup truck, sending the bike into the center divider where it fell. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and also landed in the center divider.
Emergency crews said the rider with unknown injuries was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the pickup was not injured. The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Details were limited at this time.
