HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A disabled oversized big rig shut down two lanes for nearly two hours Saturday afternoon on southbound Interstate 15 about two miles before Main Street exit.

The California Highway Patrol said the incident was first reported about 1:08pm Saturday November 20, 2021 but a heavy duty tow truck wasn’t available to move the big rig for over two hours. With the lanes blocked traffic was back-up before Palmdale Road with no estimated time of reopening.

Just after 3pm a different tow company was able to move the oversized big rig out of the traffic lanes, Traffic was able to move freely after that.

It was unknown what cause the big rig to break down and what he was carrier besides a long round cylinder.
