VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A female driver injured following an early morning crash on the busy stretch of southbound Interstate 15.
California Highway Patrol said a car slammed into the back of a moving tractor trailer. Both were traveling on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Main Street exit. The crash was reported at about 6:45am Tuesday November 23, 2021. CHP and Victorville Fire Department responded to the traffic crash. The vehicles involved were a sliver Nissan Versa sedan with major front end damage and a red semi and a white trailer with damage to the mansfield safety bar.
The female driver of the Nissan who struck the rear end of the moving semi tractor trailer was speeding at an unknown speed. Emergency crews said the driver of the Nissan was the only person inside and was transported by AMR ambulance in unknown condition. She was awake and talking to rescuers. The semi driver was not injured. The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
