CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two vehicle accident with injuries snarled traffic on Interstate 15 just after the Highway 138 exit on Sunday afternoon.
Few details were immediately available, but a pickup appeared to have crashed into the rear of a sedan about 2:18pm December 12, 2021. In the fast lane of northbound Interstate 15. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash. According to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic log page, a white Toyota Camry with major rear-end damage and a burgundy Toyota Tundra pickup truck with major front-end damage were both blocking the fast lane about a half mile after the Hwy 138 exit.
One person was transported by ambulance in unknown condition to a local hospital. Traffic was backed up to Cleghorn Road. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Additional details were limited at this time.
