HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin work on a $122 million project to rehabilitate and repave 59 miles of traffic lanes and ramps and upgrade the drainage systems on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County.
This week will span from Oak Hill Road in Hesperia to just south of Bear Valley Road in Victorville. The project is scheduled to start again on Monday January 3rd. The contractor, Sully Miller Contracting Company from Brea, CA will begin grinding and paving operations.
Northbound lane closures*: Monday night January 3 to Saturday January 8th between the hours of 9pm and 6am. They may start earlier than 9pm. Friday night and Saturday night times can subject to change.
This week they are restriping lanes and installing temporary k-rails for the shoulder.
*On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.
