SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Friday night on the northbound Interstate 215.
The crash was reported about 8:22pm. on January 14, 2022, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident happened on northbound I-215 after the Palm Ave./Kendall Dr. exit. When CHP officers arrived, they found the crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene in the center divider. Their identity hasn’t been released.
The driver that hit the pedestrian did stay at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, and there are no charges set to be placed at this time. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
