CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Super Bowl will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, Sunday February 13 at 3pm, but it could cause traffic to start backing up on southbound I-15 on Wednesday afternoon, days before Super Bowl Sunday.
It’s the first time the LA has hosted the Super Bowl since 1993.
Expect Delays on Interstate 15 due to roadwork from Oak Hills Road to Bear Valley Rd at night in both directions. Roadwork starts daily on Monday night – Saturday morning with multiple lanes could be closed from 9pm to 5am and 7am on Saturday morning.
Here are some tips to make your trip more enjoyable.
If you plan to hit the road this Super Bowl Weekend here are some helpful tips below:
• Travel in early morning hours if possible – try to leave before noon Wednesday – Sunday on southbound I-15 and northbound I-15 on Monday.
• Have a full tank of gas before you go.
• Make sure your car is in good running condition. Check all the fluids, tires and tire pressure.
• Use the restroom before you get on the road – you don’t know where you may get stopped for long periods of time.
• Bring your patience, Please. Don’t need road rage this Super Bowl weekend.
