ORO GRANDE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Heritage Fire in Oro Grande is holding at 500 acres and is now 73% contained San Bernardino County Fire Department said.
San Bernardino County Fire tweeted an update and said that as of 9am, there was no growth over the past 24 hours. Today goals are to improve/extend lines, mop up interior, patrol for hot spots.
Fire activity remains low with creeping/smoldering ground fire and occasional smoke from the interior of the burn area, SBCFD said. Today weather will be gusty winds with gust about 30+ mph in this area.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Thursday update the fire is holding at 500 acres with 95% containment. Crews continue mop-up of the interior.
