APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A group of exotic luxury sports cars were stopped by California Highway Patrol in the Cajon Pass and in Apple Valley Friday morning, making for a rather astonishing sight for bystanders traveling on Interstate 15.
A Pain In The Pass Facebook group member stated they were driving on northbound Interstate 215 Friday morning around 9am and saw about 30 sports cars pass us at a good speed. One went by us going about 100mph on the right shoulder, passing multiple vehicles.
The group of sports cars were from the NU Rally Group, they consist primarily of various Lamborghini, Porsche, BMV, and Ferrari models but also included Nissan GT-Rs, Ford Mustangs and Mercedes-AMG GT S.
A Pain In The Pass group member reports that one of the cars was towed away in the Cajon Pass. It was a red Ferrari F8 Tributo and was given a citation, also a night in jail. It’s unknown if the Ferrari was impounded for 30 days.
Some of the cars pulled over included Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, and a Ford Mustangs. CHP had 9 total pulled over on northbound I-15 at Dale Evans Parkway offramp around 9:15am. At this time its unknown who received citations.
The group of vehicles were on their way to Las Vegas for a meet for the weekend.
