VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol Border Division, Inland Division, and the Victorville office conducted a Special Enforcement Operation on Interstate 15 from San Diego to Nevada.
On Thursday March 24th CHP Officers wrote a total of 152 citations for unsafe driving, in which 16 of those were for speeding in excess of 100+ MPH. They also gave out 21 warnings for speeding. A total of four vehicles were impounded for unknown reasons. Two people were arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
The Pain In The Pass says just slowing down, driving the speed limits, saves lives. Give yourself extra time. Wear your seat belt. There is too many speed demons and tailgaters on the freeways.
