PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Rain turned roads slick on Monday afternoon, leading to crashes and vehicles off the road on Highway 138.
This crash occurred at about 1:20pm Monday March 28, 2022. The location was on eastbound Hwy 138. The driver and a dog were inside of the white SUV when they lost control on the slick highway and rolled over. There were no injuries reported, according to California Highway Patrol, but one lane had to be closed to retrieve the vehicle.
A different crash happened at 9:49am on Hwy 138 near the Mormon Rocks area with a silver Toyota Camry on its side in a ditch. Speed and slick conditions was the cause of this crash. No injuries were reported in this crash.
Both incidents will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
