CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> On Monday authorities identified the driver who was killed in a multiple vehicle crash in the Cajon Pass Friday afternoon.
A 34-year-old driver Rudy Romero, resident from Fontana was killed. California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a multiple vehicle crash. The collision was reported at about 1:49pm, Friday April 15, 2022. It was located on southbound Interstate 15 about two miles after Oak Hill Road exit. The vehicles involved according to the CHP traffic log were an unknown make or model motorcycle, a sliver Honda Accord, a dark blue Kia Sportage, and a big rig.
There are no other details released at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
