CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Traffic on northbound Interstate 15 was backed up for miles Friday afternoon after a big rig became disabled in traffic lanes.
California Highway Patrol and a tow truck responded to the disabled big rig that was reported at about 1:37pm Friday afternoon on April 22, 2022.
It is not clear why, but the CHP traffic log stated the big rig might have had transmission problems. A little after 2:30pm a tow truck was able to move the big rig and trailer out of the traffic lanes. But the weekend traffic had already started, with traffic backed up about 10 miles.
