Car Fire In The Cajon Pass Jammed Traffic Saturday Night

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A car caught fire on northbound I-15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass Saturday night, created an orange glow that you could see for miles.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a white Toyota Camry sedan on fire about one mile before Cleghorn Road exit at 10:16pm on May 7, 2022.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.

The everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed.

No injuries were reported at the scene. It was reported flames were under the vehicle before the vehicle caught fire. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
