VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol issued nearly 250 citations, mostly for speeding, as officers saturated Interstate 15 in the High Desert area last week, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

Officers from the Victorville station, along with Motor Officers from throughout the Inland Empire, saturated Interstate 15 and multiple roadways in the communities within the High Desert. They written 230 citations in total, including but not limited to:

  • 144 citations were issued for speeding.
  • 15 citations for commercial vehicle speeding and lane violations.
  • 11 Cellphone violations.
  • 9 Stop Sign violations.

The Pain In The Pass says just slowing down, driving the speed limits equal saves lives. Give yourself time, prepare ahead and arrive early. Too many speed demons and tailgaters up here in the high desert.
