CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> All lanes of traffic on southbound Interstate 15 have been cleared after two separate semi fires and two multivehicle crashes hindering Friday morning traffic.
It all started with the first semi tractor-trailer at 5:30am June 10, 2022 with rear trailer brakes on fire just after Cleghorn Road. This caused traffic to start to backup. Then at 5:53am the second semi tractor-trailer brakes were on fire inside the truck scales. Then at 6:06am the first collision was a three vehicle crash fender bender just after Cleghorn Rd. Then around 6:30am the second collision was involving a vehicle and a motorcycle just before Highway 138.
No major injuries were reported in all incidents. All will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Please check back for updates on this incident.
