HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In the Pass) >> An unidentified male motorist was killed on Father’s Day in a crash on Ranchero Road in Hesperia.

The driver described only as male, was on Ranchero Rd. in a blue Scion TC when it crashed into a 20 foot white Chevrolet motorhome. The crash happened at about 6:40am on Sunday June 19, 2022, on Ranchero Rd at Cascade Avenue.

California Highway Patrol, Hesperia Police Department, and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic accident. When firefighters arrived they had to extricate the driver from the Scion. They first called for a medical helicopter that was unsuccessful, so they transported the driver to Desert Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The identity of the male driver will be released pending notification of next of kin. No injures were reported from the motorhome. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
