Crews Investigating What Caused Vehicle Fire In The Cajon Pass Wednesday Evening

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A car caught fire on southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass Wednesday evening.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were getting calls of a gray Scion tC sedan on fire. The vehicle was located just before Kenwood Ave. The car fire happened on Wednesday about 8:14pm June 29, 2022. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.

Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
