RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A white work truck caught fire on southbound Interstate 15 Wednesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and Rancho Cucamonga firefighters were getting calls of a white work truck on fire. The vehicle was located just before Foothill Boulevard exit in the right shoulder. The truck fire happened on Wednesday about 12:03pm July 20, 2022. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.
Traffic backup quickly and firefighters had the fire out in about a half of a hour. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
