VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A stake bed truck was on fire on southbound Interstate 15 halted traffic during the afternoon commute.
California Highway Patrol, Victorville Fire Department firefighters were getting calls of a green truck on fire. The vehicle was located in the right shoulder just before Bear Valley Road offramp in the city of Victorville. The fire happened on Thursday about 1:53pm August 18, 2022. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.
Everybody did escape the truck before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
