VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Emergency crews responded to a wreck involving two semi trucks on Interstate 15.
California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department received calls of a collision on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Bear Valley Road exit. The collision happened at about 5am Friday, September 2, 2022.
From what the traffic log stated a 53 foot semi tractor trailer was rear-ended/side swiped by a semi car hauler with vehicles on the trailer. The 53 ft. semi was reportedly fully loaded with frozen meats with major damage to the rear of the trailer.
CHP and Caltrans crews were on scene and needed the slow lane to be blocked due to the clean up from the wreck and to off load the cargo. Lanes were reopened after a handful of hours.
Both semi drivers were not injured.
