VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man following a police pursuit that ended in a crash on Saturday afternoon.
According to police, at around 3:30 pm, officers were attempting to pull over a black Audi A5 two door coupe and the driver failed to yield.
The driver refused to stop, and police pursued the Audi, speeding on several surface streets and on Bear Valley Road before entering southbound Interstate 15.
About a mile down southbound I-15 the suspect lost control of the vehicle hit the drainage ditch and became stuck. The suspect ran from the car but was taken into custody nearby. He was booked into jail and is accused of multiple charges.
Police didn’t provide any additional information on his identity or the details regarding the reason for the pursuit hasn’t been released by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
