VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A police pursuit with a stolen work truck pulling a portable water transport trailer started in San Dimas work area and ends with a crash on northbound Interstate 15in Victorville, Monday afternoon.
According to police, at around 1:30 pm, officers were attempting to pull over a yellow pickup truck pulling a trailer and the driver failed to yield. At high speeds the driver lost control on northbound I-15 just before the Palmdale Road exit and hit the guardrail in the center divider blocking all lanes.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into jail accused of multiple charges still being added up.
According to California Highway Patrol, officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit with a stolen vehicle out of San Dimas. A witness stated the the company’s name on the side is Kiewit construction and engineering company.
The truck and trailer were stolen from a project in San Dimas earlier today.
The investigation is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and California Highway Patrol. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
