VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters from San Bernardino County battled a landfill blaze Thursday night in the County Landfill that is located at 18600 Stoddard Wells Road, north end of Victorville.
Crews receive calls about the brush fire at the dump just after 8pm September 22, 2022, just off of Interstate 15. The fire was contained after approximately a acre burned. Fire crews will remaining on site to do an extended cleanup and make sure the fire don’t reignite.
Winds are cooperated, and mostly kept the smoke from blowing into nearby homes. The cause of the fire has not been determined and under investigation at this time.
