CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A car fire caused a traffic jam during the morning commute on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass Friday, closing all lanes on the northbound side for less than 30 minutes.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were getting calls of a light blue/silver SUV on fire. The vehicle was located about one mile from Oak Hills Road exit in the right shoulder. The car fire happened on Friday about 5:28am September 23, 2022. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the three right lanes while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.
