KRAMER JUCTION, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An investigation was continuing on Wednesday morning into a fatal solo vehicle rollover crash on Highway 395 that left one person dead.

California Highway Patrol, Kern, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a Toyota sedan. The incident took place at about 8:42am October 19, 2022. The location of the crash was about 5 mile away from Kramer Junction.

The vehicle was reported to be traveling south on Highway 395. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle lost control and rolled over multiple times, landing about 75 to 120 feet off of the right shoulder ravine. The vehicle was the only one involved in the crash. When rescue crews arrived they said the engine was cold and had been there for a while.

The victim identity has not been released, but CHP confirmed the vehicle registration is out of Apple Valley.
