CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck left the cyclist with serious injuries and shut down two northbound lanes of Interstate 15 Tuesday evening.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident. The vehicles involved in the crash were a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a unknown type of bike. The crash was reported about 7:13pm, Tuesday November 1, 2022 on northbound Interstate 15 just before Highway 138 exit.
The rider was ejected from the bike and landed in the traffic lanes. The bike was hit by a passing semi. The unidentified motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
