BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist was killed and one was injured Saturday afternoon after being involved in an accident with a semi tractor trailer on northbound Interstate 15 near the town of Baker.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident. The vehicles involved in the crash were a semi tractor trailer and two unknown motorcycles. The crash was reported about 4:16pm, Saturday November 5, 2022, on northbound Interstate 15 about 8 miles after the town of Baker.
Both riders were ejected from their bikes. One landed in the center divider and the other rider landed in the right shoulder. When rescue crews arrived they reported one male rider didn’t survive his injuries and another male rider was treated and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.
