BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was hit by a white Cadillac and killed on northbound Interstate 15 in the city of Barstow early Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP says the pedestrian was struck about 2:16am on Saturday December 31, 2022 by a vehicle headed north on I-15, just before East Main Street exit downtown Barstow.
When CHP arrived on the scene, they found the pedestrian that was hit and found unresponsive in the center divider. With CPR efforts on scene failed, shortly after they pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
It was reported the motorist involved in the incident did remain on the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
