VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The coroner’s office Monday did released the name of a driver killed in a rollover crash on southbound Interstate 15 in Victorville on Sunday.
Malik Gamble, 27-year-old a resident of San Bernardino.
CHP and Victorville Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on southbound Interstate 15 just after the Mojave Drive exit. The crash happened at about 3:12pm Sunday January 15, 2023.
Malik was driving a dark maroon colored Lexus ES series sedan and a white Ford F-250 pick-up truck were the only vehicles involved in the crash.
A witness stated the Lexus hit the Ford pick-up truck cause the driver of the Lexus to lose control and hit the center divider head on. That is when Malik of the Lexus was ejected from his car during a crash.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
