HARVARD, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A single-vehicle rollover on southbound Interstate 15 killed a person and airlifted another Monday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 2:47pm Monday January 23, 2023. The location was on southbound Interstate 15 at Harvard Road. California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Log, a black or dark green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck lost control at an unknown speed. The truck veered onto the right shoulder and rolled-over multiple times, landing about 30 feet off of the freeway on its roof.
Firefighters rendered aid to two people and a dog inside the upside down pickup truck. Rescue crews requested one helicopter to transport one with serious injuries. The person was transported by Mercy Air #66 to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The other person succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision. The dog was check out and is okay.
That person’s identity has not been released publicly at this time.
