VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> This weekend California Highway Patrol Inland Division’s Street Racing Task Force conducted an Enforcement Operation in the Victorville Area.
During this operation, they made 34 Enforcement Stops. Out of the 34 traffic stops 22 citations were issued. Out of 22 tickets 12 vehicles were inspected for illegal modifications of which 9 were referred to the Smog Check Referee Program. A total of 4 Vehicles were impounded.
Street racing, Sideshow Activity, and Illegally modified vehicles are ongoing problems that are not only dangerous but extremely reckless. Our Officers are in full force looking for these types of activities if you see one of these actions on the roadway please call 911.
CHP units and air units will continue to focus on the safety of the motoring public on the highway through education and enforcement efforts. Remember to slow down don’t speed, wear your seatbelt, and stay off your mobile devices while operating a motor vehicle.
