DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) alerts the public that Cajon Maintenance crews will be conducting a slab replacement operation on Interstate 15 (I-15) in Devore.
This night slab replacement operation will be performed on Thursday, April 9th to Saturday, April 11th from 9pm to 6am*.
The lanes closure will start from the southbound I-15 Kenwood Avenue on ramp, Truck Bypass lanes, and #2, # 3, and #4 main lanes from Kenwood Avenue to Glen Helen Parkway will be closed in order to properly conduct the slab repairs.
So only ONE lane will be open so expect a major traffic delay.
Please reduce your speed when near work areas for the safety of crews and other drivers on the route.
Signage will be placed ahead to indicate approaching roadway work.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.
