PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 36 -year-old La Puente man was killed after being ejected from his pick-up truck in a head-on collision Tuesday morning.
The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Rodolfo Mayorga of La Puente.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department received calls of a collision on Highway 138 near Lone Pine canyon Road. According to CHP, the two-vehicle head-on crash happened at around 8:06 am Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
The vehicles involved in the crash were reported on the CHP traffic log as, a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with major front-end damage and a sliver Dodge Ram pickup truck with major damage to front-end driving by Rodolfo Mayorga. Mayorga who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was ejected during the crash.
The rescue units arrived at the scene quickly and attempted to give lifesaving first-aid, unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and Mayorga was pronounced deceased at the scene by rescue personal.
