DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A fundraiser has been launched for the family of a 39-year-old Los Angeles man killed in a crash on southbound Interstate 15 On Sunday night.
The man, described in the Gofundme as “a loving husband, a loving father to two a little boy and little girl”. He was a hardworking, kind, and adventurous person.
Diego Barragan was killed on his Birthday driving back home to Los Angeles on southbound Interstate 15 near the Glen Helen Parkway exit.
California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a dark gray Chevrolet Camaro at about 9:43pm Sunday March 27, 2023.
A witness stated on the CHP traffic log, Barragan the driver of the Camaro lost control at high rate of speed and hit the guardrail on the right shoulder. He was the sole occupant and was ejected from the car. The Camaro ended up the embankment.
Rescue crews rendered aid to Barragan but sadly he succumbed to his injuries sustained in the collision.
The family have made a GoFundMe account to help lay Diego to rest peacefully.
