HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A head-on crash on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia Tuesday evening sent two people to the hospital.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the scene at about 5:43pm Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The crash was located on Summit Valley Road about one mile north of Highway 138. With pictures from the scene it looks to be a head-on collision. The vehicles involved were blue Honda CRV with some front-end damage and a green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck also with some front-end damage.
Firefighters rendered aid to all the people involved in the crash. Rescue crews requested two ground ambulance to transport two with moderate injuries. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital.
Lanes were reopened in about a hour.
The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Additional details were limited at this time.
