CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Commuter may have notice a car on top of a hill in the Cajon Pass Saturday afternoon. (Photo above is credit by Pamela Torres)
The incident happened at about 1:45pm Saturday May 6, 2023. The location of the incident was on northbound Interstate 15 about a half of a mile before the Oak Hills Road exit. California Highway Patrol and a tow truck responded to the silver Subaru Legacy sedan up the embankment on the center median near the top of the Cajon Pass.
For reasons still under investigation, the Subaru lost control at a unknown rate of speed, hit the embankment hard and went up the hill. The car stop over half way and became stuck.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
A Pain In The Pass Facebook Group member Pamela Torres took a picture of the vehicle up on the hill. She said how does this even happen?
