BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person were hospitalized Saturday transported via helicopter, after their car rolled over on Interstate 15 according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
The crash happened at 4:51pm on May 28, 2023, on the southbound I-15 Freeway between Halloran Spring Road and Baker Blvd, the California Highway Patrol said.
A brown Toyota sedan was found on its side in the #3 lane by the first arriving CHP officers and firefighters, they rendered aid to the people involved in the incident. Rescue crews requested a medical helicopter to transport one with unknown injuries.
One person was transported from the scene by Mercy Air helicopter to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The driver of the Toyota was reported to be speeding and driving reckless prior to the crash. Also CHP believed the driver was under the influence or had been under influence prior to the collision. CHP said the driver impairment was unknown as they reported, will check at the hospital.
