CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist in the Cajon Pass was injured in a solo vehicle motorcycle accident Friday evening.
The crash occurred along northbound Interstate 15 before the Cleghorn Road exit around 6:07pm on June 9, 2023. California Highway Patrol officers arrived and discovered the rider and bike on the left two lanes.
San Bernardino County Fire Department first responders arrived to assess injuries, which they determined to be major but alert and talking. However, the motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital for additional evaluation.
At this point, no reason has been given as to the cause of the motorcycle accident. However, authorities are investigating to determine why it happened.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
