The two-vehicle accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Sunday morning at the 215/15 Interchange just before Kenwood Avenue exit. California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles.

The vehicles involved were reported as a black Kia Sorento SUV and a white box truck. The Kia had major front-end damage blocking the #3 and #4 lane.

One person was transported by a ground ambulance to a Loma Linda Medical Center with lacerations to there face and head, also neck injuries.

Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
