ONTARIO. CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Bloomington resident has been identify as a driver, who lost control of his vehicle early Sunday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.

The San Bernardino County Coroner has identified the driver as a 31-year-old Adrian Luis Perez, resident of Bloomington.

The collision occurred in the southbound Interstate 15 transition ramp to Eastbound I-10 about 4:52am Sunday August 13, 2023. Officers from the California Highway Patrol and Ontario Fire Department responded to the collision. 

Perez was reported to be traveling on southbound Interstate 15 transition ramp to Eastbound I-10 freeway. For reasons still under investigation, Perez lost control of his vehicle and went down the right shoulder embankment landed near a business rear parking lot. The vehicle was the only one involved in the crash CHP said. When rescue crews arrived they said as a result of the collision, the driver sustained fatal injuries at the scene.

Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in this collision.
