OAK HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was injured in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 around 7:22am Saturday September 9, 2023. It happened in the southbound lanes just before the Oak Hill Road exit. (Photo above is credit by Del Fuentes)

California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash. From the CHP traffic log stated the motorcycle rider and bike was laying down in the traffic lanes.

Investigators from the CHP said, and learned that the rider was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic lanes prior to the crash. A black Harley Davidson were traveling southbound on I-15 when the rider lost control and hit the center divider.

Rescue crews arrived on scene, and transported the rider by ground ambulance with moderate injuries. Traffic was backup all the way to Main Street.

It appears speed was a factor in the crash. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
